Ashton McCombs IV

Ashton McCombs IV is the Executive Director of SLS Community, where he leads a project that is taking a holistic, person-centered approach designed to enable neurodivergent adults to live, work, and thrive in their communities. Ashton is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He commissioned as an officer into the Marine Corps and served six years as a Logistics Officer. Ashton also holds an M.S. in Management from the University of Florida and an MBA from Duke University with a focus on social entrepreneurship. His passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals is deeply personal and inspired by his relationship with his sister. Ashton is committed to building inclusive systems and programs that recognize strengths, foster independence, and create meaningful opportunities for neurodivergent adults in the community and workforce.
