
Heather Henderson
Programming and Behavior Support Manager
Heather serves as the Positive Behavior Support Specialist (PBSS) and the Programming and Behavior Support Manager. She is a graduate of Purdue University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis. Heather leads Program Forge, an individualized vocational equipping, Supported Employment, and job placement program to support neurodivergent adults to forge a path towards placement and sustained success in the workforce.
With over 15 years of experience, she has supported individuals who are neurodivergent across a variety of settings, including supported employment. She is dedicated to helping individuals build meaningful skills, achieve greater independence, and succeed in integrated work environments. Her areas of expertise include the analysis of challenging behaviors, skill development, staff training, and employment support strategies.
She is deeply passionate about her work and committed to enhancing the quality of life for all SLS Community Participants.
